Miami has the resources and Launch Pad Tech™ will offer the support you need to scale your business! The Launch Pad Tech™ program spans 12 weeks, during which 10 teams will be working full-time on creating a scalable business model for their technology startup. The Launch Pad Tech™program runs from mid-January to Mid-April 2013.

The Teams

The accelerator is a founder-friendly non-profit organization with amazing benefits:

  • We only take teams of 2 to 4 founders with complementary backgrounds.
  • Teams must be committed to spending the first 12 weeks of the program full time in our accelerator space in downtown Miami during the acceleration/incubation program.
  • Founding team members must speak English.

We place a great deal of importance on the team, on its solidity and on its ability to be coached and to take feedback.

The Business

The accelerator is a founder-friendly non-profit organization with amazing benefits:

  • The business is an innovative web or mobile technology solution applied to one of the three following industries:
    1. Hospitality/Tourism IT
    2. Healthcare IT
    3. Creatives (art, design, music, photography, etc.) IT
  • The business has passed the idea phase, talking to early potential customers, have built an early version of your product, even if it’s in the form of a mockup = you have something tangible to show.
  • The company can be pre-revenue or just starting to generate its first revenue.
  • The company can already have received external funding but no more than 500,000 USD.
  • Having some form of intellectual capital ownership is a plus but not a requirement.
